Worship with Us this Weekend!

Annual Congregational Meeting   will focus on our dreams for our 2018 ministry.

One Family Worship will follow immediately after the vote to adjourn the congregational meeting. Our scripture passages are Deuteronomy 18:15-20 (God's words speak through prophets) and Mark 1:21-28 (Jesus teaching and healing with authority and effectiveness) with a sermon entitled Prophets Wanted. We will conclude with God Made from One Love All the Families of the Earth - a new hymn with fresh lyrics and a familiar tune (Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise).

Vitality Luncheon and Strategizing will kick-off right away in Fellowship Hall (childcare after lunch).

One minute... not sure if this is factually true but there is definitely truth in this story!

Inspiration
Bad situations don't have to make us bitter-they can make us better! God can use the good, the bad, the happy, the sad to mold us into the people God wants and needs us to be. Our goal should be to focus not on what others do to us but what God will do through us. Rest assured, what others may intend for evil, God will use for good. ~Skip Heitzig

Humor
Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
