The IFSPT will present a special symposium, On The Ice: Sports Physical Therapy in Hockey. This course is included in conference admission.
 
Ice hockey is a finesse sport that requires a unique combination of speed, power, and teamwork. As a result, players are at risk for specific injury patterns-some of them avoidable. The IFSPT course will cover common injuries, rehabilitation after surgery and return to play for this popular sport

RETURN TO PLAY 2015


The Return to Play 2015 conference is a cooperation among the Swiss Sports Physiotherapy Association (SSPA), the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy ( IFSPT) and the British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM).


The aim of the conference is to present the current evidence on RTP criteria and guidelines in different areas, where sports physiotherapy plays a major role in helping athletes to come back at highest level after injury or surgery.
