The 4th Annual Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival will take place in beautiful Blackburn Park on Saturday, 10am to 7pm March 24 and Sunday, 10am to 6pm March 25. There will be an Arts & Crafts Market, Food Trucks, Classic Car Show, Children's Village, 5K Run & 1K Walk, Pet Parade & Costume Contest plus musical performances throughout the weekend. Admission is free.

Stomp, the percussion sensation, is back at the Fox Theatre Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7. A unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy, Stomp has created its own inimitable, contemporary form of rhythmic expression. Over the past 20 years the show has continued to change by creating new material. This year it will incorporate two new pieces. It is safe to say you will never again look at supermarket carts or plumbing fixtures the same way.

Alliance Theatre Mellon Playwright in Residence Pearl Cleage offers two one-act plays separated by 30 years but connected by the presence of Jenny Anderson. Jenny's longing to understand her mother in Hospice has become the center of her life in Pointing at the Moon. As the world changes around her, Jenny must decide what she knows for sure and find a way to pass it on. Hospice was first performed in 1983 and was honored with five AUDELCO awards for achievement Off Broadway. Taken together, these two plays offer a rare glimpse of the playwright in passionate dialogue with her younger self. Come join the conversation.
