Lyon's January Update

Lyon administration would like to invite each of our families to attend our middle of year Parent Advisory Committee meeting.  This event will coincide with the PTO meeting on Tuesday, January 30th at 6:00 p.m. in the Lyon library.  The goal of this meeting is to celebrate successes related to our school goals, gain feedback based on our fall parent survey, and update families on current initiatives and methods of implementation.  If you would like more information feel free to contact your child's teacher or the Lyon office.  
We'd love to see you there!

Thank you for supporting our PTO!

With all your support from our most recent PTO events, Lyon's PTO purchased T-shirts for our math club team.  Help us cheer on our mathletes as these compete on Saturday, February 3rd.

These heroes were recognized at our December and January assemblies.  They were voted as top-notch by students and staff.  We appreciate how both these team members have been going above and beyond to meet Lyon's needs. 

Leader In Me Update!
Lyon's focus for the month of January is Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind!  We celebrated our Leaders of the Month who excel within this habit at Tuesday's first ever Buddy Assembly.  We will continue this new tradition each month, along with Buddy Day.  On this day your child's classroom will partner with another grade to learn more about the habit of the month!

We are so proud of Lyon's newly revised action teams who put all the hard work into the preparation and planning of all the new events we have this semester.
