Missions Spotlight:
Rome's Community Church Ministry's Easter Egg Hunt!

Community Church Ministry is a local ministry supported by FPC, led by Pastor George Nix. Pastor Nix delivers God's Word to eleven underserved neighborhoods in Rome. Every Thursday night they serve a light meal and share a devotional followed by music.
They are in need of 10-15 volunteers (children welcomed!) from 3:30-5:00pm on March 17 at Graham Homes, located on E 12th and Maple, to help with one of their Easter Egg Hunts.
Responsibilities would include: hiding Easter Eggs, registering adults for a drawing, passing out candy, and serving hotdogs and drinks.
In addition to the Easter Egg Hunts, they host summer BBQs with back-to- school supplies, fall festivals, Thanksgiving meals, and Christmas parties. Please contact Amy Edwards at 706-594-0878 for more information or to sign up to volunteer. This is a great family service project!

NEW WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDIES
BEGINS MARCH 21
LIGHT INTO DARKNESS:
A STUDY OF THE INCARNATION
While the church should seek to know and study all the events surrounding Jesus' life, there are some that demand more of our attention than others. The Incarnation of Jesus Christ is one of those events that calls for greater reflection as it is filled with deep mystery and beauty. In the light spectrum of our Immanuel, the hue of God's infinite love and grace shines with great brilliance. The Scriptures teach us that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Yet what does this mean? How does this impact my life today? These and other questions will be explored in the class. So join us on Wednesday Nights at 6:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall as Rev. Bill Pardue leads us through this 5-week study on the truths and implications surrounding the Incarnation

GOSPEL-CENTERED DISCERNMENT &
PROTECTION
IN THE DIGITAL AGE
At the conclusion of our January Christ & Culture Forum on Technology, many families asked about practical, detailed ways to safeguard their hearts and homes in the digital age.  In light of this, there will be a 5-week class that will offer a closer look at specific issues, protection, and resources surrounding many topics (Social Media,  Filters, A pps, Cyberbullying, Texting, Devices, and more) as well as strategies and safeguards for the heart as it relates to remaining Gospel-centered on the ever-expanding digital frontier.
This class is recommended for parents and non-parents alike, but space is limited Please email Dave Abernathyat  dave@abernathyhome.com to sign up!
WELCOME LANYARDS

The Congregational Life Ministry Team would like to thank those who wear their names on a Welcome Lanyard.  We greatly appreciate your willingness to serve in this way.
It is our hope that visitors will be more comfortable asking questions.  For those interested in wearing a Welcome Lanyard, there are no set responsibilities or stations.  Please contact Natalie Pettegrew, Director of Connections, at nataliep@fpcrome.org , to request a lanyard.
