Boundaries abound!
Are you playing the same old song when it comes to your personal boundaries?
Empathic people tend to feel others' needs before their own.
That makes us feel as though we are in a tornado of overwhelming needs from others. Always being the last person that gets to fulfill their needs. Maybe never even getting what we need at all!
That can leave us feeling bitter.
But, when does this insanity end?
When we take our power back!
When we start making intelligent decisions merging the head and the heart together. When we realize that maybe, we aren't meant to fix everything.
Realize that everyone has their own path, their own challenges in this lifetime.
You may feel others' needs and disturbances but when we have strong boundaries, we realize that they are going through a powerful lesson. If we fly in and do it for them, when will they learn it for themselves?
We can offer advice, and support. But, when we are aware of our own personal space, we can draw the line as to how far we can participate.
That leaves us in a powerful state of self-respect.
This week our boundaries are being tested. It's all about being in a mental state of awareness. Keeping your eyes open and being discerning at the same time.
Keep a harness on your wild horses of reaction.
They want to bolt, they want to run and rear up.
Self-control says the King/Queen.
Be the powerful leader of your own life. Take up the reins and control the direction you should go in. Not, what others want you to do.
They may be used to you giving in. They are used to you putting them ahead of yourself, so the "new you" may not be well liked.
But, you will love yourself!
Feel the empowerment already, just by thinking of it.
Stand up for what you are and what you believe in.
You are royalty in God's eyes.
God has a picture of you on his refrigerator!
Be loving, without the need to be loved.
Be consoling without needing to be consoled.
Because strong people with strong boundaries are already loved.
Without overwhelm.
Without forgetting their own needs and wants.
Be the tree, not the leaves that get swept away with the wind.
Be the mighty Oak tree and not the willow that tends to bend and break.
You are strong!
It's only a matter of choice. Intention.
all my love,
Cristina
Prayer of St. Francis:
Lord make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy
O divine master grant that I may
not so much seek to be consoled as to console
to be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it's in dying that we are born to eternal life
Amen
