Spotlight - "Pantry Champions"
This month's "Pantry Champion" is Congregation Beth Emeth.

JFS received an amazing donation from their annual High Holiday Food Drive. We are so grateful for the generosity and support of the Congregation! Their donations yielded a bounty of food for our clients in need.

All 0f the donated foods are now available in our "Bag Hunger Food Pantry" which provides JFS clients with supplemental food and toiletry items.

Portraits From VolunteeringPortraits
An exhibition of Paul Simon's larger-than-life pastel portraits.

Since retiring, Paul Simon has volunteered with JFS, providing  transportation, shopping  assistance, and  other companionship services for those who can no longer drive, through the Brandywine Village Network (BVN). He also volunteers with JFS Refugee Integration Support  Effort (RISE), providing assistance to refugee families who have recently arrived in Delaware and the US.

In addition to the satisfaction he receives from helping those in need, Paul found the faces of those he helps to be intriguing and expressive subjects for his larger-than-life pastel portraiture.

RISE WITH REFUGEES!
We need your help to raise funds for our Refugee Integration Support Effort.

When refugees seek a home in Delaware, JFS helps them settle here and raise their families in freedom and safety. With your help, we will continue to assist newcomers to America and mobilize hundreds of volunteers to welcome them.

No amount is too small.
Thank you for making Delaware a place where refugees are welcome.
HELP A FAMILY THIS THANKSGIVING!
Every year, with the help of community members and faith-based organizations, JFS provides Thanksgiving Baskets to our clients who need a little extra help to get through the holidays.
