NAHU Unite!
When a disaster strikes, NAHU identifies any members who may have been affected. Coordinated efforts are put in place to notify  all NAHU members of the situation. NAHU members are then asked to donate gift cards to the state or local leadership of the affected area. Gift cards are given directly to NAHU members in  need, such as in the recent fires in Northern and Southern California.

This program is designed to give temporary but immediate help while members are awaiting federal funds, insurance proceeds or assistance from organizations like the Red Cross. Gift cards  are an effective and expedited way to get NAHU members help immediately.

During disasters, many people lose everything -- their personal belongings, debit cards, driver's license, checks and the like. Gift cards allow NAHU members in need to purchase food, clothing, temporary housing and other essential goods and services.
