It is Time to Open our Eyes! As pediatricians and health professionals working with children and adolescents, little attention is given in training or ongoing education to the third leading cause of death in 10-14 year olds and second leading cause of death in 15-34 year olds - SUICIDE. This presentation is to raise your awareness and give an overview of the scope of the problem and associated risk factors. An extensive list of resources will be provided for further training, referrals, and to use as resources professionally or personally.
