NESA is looking for a dynamic and creative leader who will build on our momentum to enhance our services, and provide new services in response to the ever-changing needs of our membership. Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Social Services Administration or a related field such as Business, Community Development, or Management of Non-Profit Organizations.
• At least 5 years of proven leadership experience in a not-for-profit organization including managing a complex financial budget, strategic and operational planning as well as operational management experience (fiscal management, program design and impact evaluation, fund development and grant applications).
• Experience in a management position with direct reports.
• Experience with seniors populations and communities is an asset.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Working with the Ageing to Sageing Community Animator, this position will connect with seniors in North East Edmonton who may be interested in contributing their knowledge, skills and time to making a difference in their community. The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for providing outreach, case-finding and follow-up services addressing the social and emotional needs of older adults through assessment, support, connecting to resources, advocacy, system navigation, identification of system gaps and engaging community to fill those gaps. 

The successful candidate will hold a degree or diploma in Social Work. Experience working with older adults and familiarity with community development are considered assets. The position requires the ability to become registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers, hold a valid Driver's License and show proof of 2-million-dollar liability insurance.

Reporting to the Director of Health Services, this position is responsible for providing leadership and effective administration of the Health Services program. This position will be responsible for team development, support and training, and bringing the vision, mission and values to life for the Health Services program. The Health Services Manager will provide support to the Director of Health Services by ensuring that day to day financial and administrative activities are undertaken. Additionally, the Manager will support the development and implementation of the Performance Management and Evaluation Strategy and Plan, as well as the communication strategy for the launch of the services. The Health Services Manager will act as the Information and Privacy Office for Sage and will be responsible for the implementation of related policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Business Administration and 5 years of related or applicable experience in a non-profit, human services, community, primary care, or seniors care setting. Preference will be given to individuals in leadership roles, and those with experience in financial reporting.

Alberta's first ever satellite, Experimental-Albertan #1 (Ex-Alta 1), was launched from the Kennedy Space Center in April 2017.
