Women's History Month" is March. It began in 1981 with an act from the US Congress.
The Lima News is celebrating "
Women's History Month" with two solid pages dedicated to women in business. It has information and ads [after all they do have to pay a lot to produce a paper and maintain a web-site] on 34 women in business is the area.
You should take a look at it!
They have an interesting approach. Each page has 17 businesses in each daily paper [excluding Sundays]. Every day they feature one businesswoman and their business on each page. "Raggedy" Ruth and Forever In Stitches is scheduled to be featured on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
On the day when a businesswoman is featured, they have an 1/8th page backgrounder on her and a 2 x 4 ad for her business. On all other days they have a 2 x 2 ad for her business.
Shown here is a part of one of the two pages for Saturday, March 10. It features Susan Hubbell M.D., M.S. and her company, "Curves". Also shown, above, is Ruth's picture that will appear in her backgrounder on March 15.
