This week was Celebrate Texas Public Schools Week in EMS ISD highlighting the outstanding work that takes place in our community schools each day. EMS ISD State Wrestling Champions
Two EMS ISD students, Chisholm Trail senior Dillon Thomas and Saginaw senior Jacyln McNichols, were named State Champions at the UIL 5A State Wrestling Meet on February 24 at the Berry Center in Cypress.

Save the Date: EMS ISD STEM Showcase
Join us for EMS ISD's first district-wide STEM Showcase at the Hollenstein Career and Technology Center. This community event is a come-and-go format and will feature students grades PreK-12 showcasing a variety of the f
un STEM projects and activities that we see everyday in our district such as humanzoids, rockets, drones, and Discovery MakerSpace carts.
The event is free of charge and open from 5:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, March 22. Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Foresters Financial Services, Inc.

2017 Survey Summary Below - Take the 2018 Survey
Before March 22
All Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD parents are invited to take part in this year's District and School Climate Survey. Each year, we ask for parents' feedback on important topics including educational programs, district and campus leadership, facilities and operations, budget and finance, communications, and safety and security.
The 2017-2018 survey window will close Thursday, March 22.
Parents should check their email for a personal invitation and survey link. They can also participate by
clicking here or by requesting a paper survey from the EMS ISD Communications Department. The online survey is available in both English and Spanish, and is compatible with any computer, tablet, or smartphone. For more information about the survey,

Discover EMS ISD Fine Arts
The EMS ISD Fine Arts Showcase at the Bass Performance Hall on February 21 was a success, with more than 2,000 people in attendance. The show featured five elementary choirs, the high school dance programs, and the middle school and high school bands. To view pictures from the Showcase,

EMS ISD Summer Enrichment Camps
Did you know that Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD hosts a series of enrichment camps each summer? No matter what your child's interests may be, we have a summer camp for that. EMS ISD Athletics and Fine Arts departments have partnered together to offer fun and exciting camps for various sports including football, soccer, basketball and more as well as camps for those interested in robotics, coding, performing arts, painting, drawing - the list goes on and on!
Summer camps are open to current EMS ISD students as well as any interested student in the immediate or neighboring areas. However, space is limited and classes fill up quickly, so it is important to register as soon as possible.
Registration opens at noon on Friday, March 9.
