Seis Lagos Grief Support Group
First meeting for a Seis Lagos Grief Support Group
for those who have lost a loved one will be Saturday,
March 24th in the Pool Cabana at 3:00-4:30 PM.
Come meet survivors, spouses, children, parents, who have lost a loved one in the Seis Lagos Community at a casual gathering at the Cabana. There will be light refreshments.
Everyone is welcome. This is a casual meeting for neighbors to get to know neighbors and maybe find a way to help each other heal from a loss.
There will not be a "professional" councilor or Pastor attending. The goal is to build a network of positive support for each other.
There are many stages of grief and maybe you'll find a neighbor who you can support or needs your support.

A new parking pad has been created at the guard house. The safety officers will now park theirs cars in this space. This will help with traffic exiting the community.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 31st
We currently need volunteers to help stuff plastic eggs with goodies. The Easter eggs will be ready to be picked up starting March 14th at the home of D'Ana Pedigo at 96 Camino Real East, on the front porch. Once the eggs are stuffed, please return to D'ana's home or the HOA office.
There will be a large blue tub to place the stuffed eggs in. Please return eggs by Wednesday, March 28th.
More details to come soon.

Late Fee Increased to $25.00
Beginning in March, the late fee will increase to $25.00 to better cover the cost of collection. In addition to the late fee charge, interest on the unpaid monthly installment or installments of the lot owner's annual installment shall be assessed and accrue as provided by the Covenants of Seis Lagos, Article V, Section 1 until paid by the lot owner. This Resolution was approved by unanimous vote of the Board of Directors in attendance at the HOA meeting on February 12, 2018.
Reminder: Assessments/Dues are due by the 1st of every month. If your check is received after the 10th, a late charge will be applied to your account (with the exception if the 10th falls on a weekend). Dues are $120.00 per month. You can pay dues annually, quarterly, or monthly.
Please write your lot and block on all checks.
** Please write checks in blue or black ink. Colored ink will not scan.
Online payment is also available. Please go to our website for more details. There is a small convenience fee for paying online.

Fitness Room, Game Room & Poker Room NOW OPEN
Reminder: Children 14 and under need to be accompanied by an adult when using these facilities. Surveillance cameras are in use at all times.

- 4th of July Community Celebration
If you would like to coordinate one of these events please contact Christi Davidson in the HOA office at 972-442-3000, to set up a date to reserve the Clubhouse or Cabana at no charge.
Without volunteers, these events will not be possible. Please consider volunteering. It's a great way to meet new neighbors.

Exterior Home Improvements
All exterior improvements, updates, landscaping, removing & replanting trees/shrubs, pools, exterior painting, concrete work, roofs, patios, pergolas, fire pits, rod iron fences, etc. need to be approved by the ACC PRIOR to the construction date.
The ACC meets the second Sunday of every month at 6:30 PM in the HOA Conference room. All meetings are open and homeowners with submission forms are encouraged to attend.

Summer Lifeguards
We will be interviewing and hiring Summer Lifeguards for the Seis Lagos pools starting in April. Lifeguards will start Memorial Day weekend and go through Labor Day weekend.
Lifeguards must be Lifeguard Certified and completed the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training. The certification must include First Aid, CPR, and AED training. Shifts are a minimum of 4 hrs from 10:00 AM-10:00 PM, seven days a week.

Lifeguards do not need to live in Seis Lagos.

Visitors & Contractors
Please notify the guard house in advance when you are expecting visitors or contractors at your home. This helps our guards direct the visitors/contractors to the appropriate address.
Please remind your guests to stop at the guard house when entering the community.

Paddle Boats, Kayaks, Canoes, etc.
Do not leave paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, etc. in the Seis Lagos lakes or tied to the docks. Please place these items on your property and do not leave on the common area.
Gas powered water vessels are NOT permitted in the Seis Lagos lakes.

Dirt Bikes, Motorbikes, ATVs, & Similar Vehicles are
Prohibited
in and on the Properties of Seis Lagos
Below is the section from the Seis Lagos Covenants that pertains to these vehicles.
Article VII, Section 39
Permitted Uses and Restrictions
Page 40 of the Covenants of Seis Lagos
Motorbikes.
No trail bikes, motor bikes, go-carts, motorcycles, dune buggies or similar vehicles may be used except to travel from the Properties to Farm Road 1378, and then only as a means of conveyance to and from the outside boundaries of the Properties, and not for pleasure use within the Properties.
We recently had our attorney review this covenant and dirt bikes are prohibited in the community of Seis Lagos, including riding on and around your property.

Parking on Seis Lagos Streets
Please park all resident vehicles on the property driveway and please remind your guests to not park on both sides of the street.
Keeping open roads allows easy access for residents and emergency vehicles. |
