Guatemala Mission Trip Banquet and Silent Auction!
Parkway will have another mission team going to Guatemala this summer.  The team members not only give of their time and energy, but also commit to paying their own airfare.  The Mission Outreach Committee would like to help defray the cost of lodging, meals, and work supplies by hosting a banquet on Saturday, February 10.  Tickets will be $20.00 per person.  Please save the date and be prepared for an evening of fellowship, a delicious meal, and a fun silent auction.  If you have any Christmas gifts you would like to "re-gift" or a special talent you can share, please call Anne Mosiman or Marilynn Yankee to donate to the silent auction.
4th Sundays for Izzy's Food Pantry -- Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive
You may remember that Texas A&M - Corpus Christi has started a new food pantry to support students dealing with food insecurity. Once a week currently enrolled students in need can receive 10 items from the food pantry. The university needs the help of community members, like us, to keep the pantry stocked. On the 4th Sunday of the month Parkway has been collecting non-perishable food items to help keep the pantry shelves full. Thank you for helping us support the students of TAMUCC! Next collection will be January 28th.

Souper Bowl of Caring
February 4, 2018

On February 4th, 140 million Americans will tune into the Super Bowl football game. There will be parties with abundant food, friendship and fellowship. At the same time, there will be people worrying about finding shelter and food to eat. Please join young people around the country as they demonstrate God's love by helping their neighbors through the Souper Bowl of Caring.  Since 1990, youth have raised more than $71 million for hunger efforts.

Parkway youth will join young people in churches across the U.S. to collect money for those who are hurting and hungry. After worship, youth will hold soup pots at the sanctuary doors where you can drop monetary donations. Thanks for helping us tackle hunger!
