Tu B'Shevat Seder at Beth El
Tuesday, Jan 30th at 6PM

We honor trees and appreciate the food, shade and shelter they provide.  Jewish mystics, Kabbalists, who lived in Israel in the 16th century, developed this ritual Tu B'Shevat Seder to celebrate God's presence in the natural world.  Like them, we will gather to eat, sing, and rejoice in the miracle of trees.

Rabbi Matuson will lead our Seder, with wines that reflect the changing seasons, fruits that represent the Kabbalistic Four Worlds, and a light dinner.

Cost:  $18.00 per person.
Please make checks payable to Beth El Sisterhood.

ANNUAL NIGHT OF GIVING
GALA
Saturday, March 10th at 6:30pm

~Donation Requests~

Our Annual Night of Giving Gala is less than 60 days away and the Committee is excited to let you know that this year it will be held at 3 Palms Grille located in Ponte Vedra Beach on March 10th.

Similar to years in the past we are looking to you, our congregants, to make the silent and live auctions a success by donating new and slightly new items such as restaurant gift cards, small electronics, Ipads, vacation homes for a weekend get a way, sports tickets,  etc.

This year we are asking you to take pictures of the items and send them to Betsy Siegel and the Committee will make a decision.  Betsy will get back to you with drop off specifics within  72 hours of receiving your note.  We are doing this to avoid a lot of confusion as we prepare the items and to also give thanks to those who have generously donated items.

Betsy's email is [email protected]

The donation cutoff is Friday, March 2, 2018.

Thank you so much as we continue to support our Beth El community together.
