The Devil, The Lamb, and the Throne:
The Book of Revelation Bible Study - Continuing this Wednesday, Pastoral Assistant Eric Fialho will lead a five-week study of the Book of Revelation. The study will cover the many beguiling and mysterious themes, symbols, and images presented in the last book of the Bible. Close attention will be paid to the book's historical context, its eschatological themes, and its main theme of good versus evil. The study will meet every Wednesday through March 21 at 7:00 pm in the Library.
For this week, please read Chapters 10 -18.

Coming Up: Holy Week |
Holy Week,
as I have said before, can be a time for revival and a deepening of one's faith. It can also be a time for conversion and re-conversion. Many people who have fallen away from the Church, return to an active faith when they have made the pilgrimage of Holy Week. Others, who may not be Christians at all, but only curious, have been converted during Holy Week and then seek to be baptized.
Why not invite at least one friend to accompany you to the services of the Triduum (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, the Great Vigil of Easter and Easter Day)?
Coming alone can be somewhat daunting, but being invited and attending with a friend is not too great a leap.
There are cards at the entrances to the Church
. They have all the information about our Holy Week services. Given them to your friends. Take as many as you wish to invite others to commit to join you or simply to come on their own. -- Father Warren
Maundy Thursday:
Foot Washing . . . As part of the Maundy Thursday Liturgy, the feet of twelve parishioners are washed by the clergy in imitation of Our Lord's action at the Last Supper with his disciples. If you wish to be part of this very moving ceremony and have your feet washed, please sign up in Moseley Hall.
Could you not watch with me one hour? (Matthew 26:40) A Vigil of prayer and adoration before the Blessed Sacrament will take place on Maundy Thursday following the Solemn Mass until midnight. If you would like to take part, please sign up for a particular period so that we have a person present at all times.

Sunday's Collect |
Gracious Father, whose blessed Son Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be the true bread which giveth life to the world: Evermore give us this bread, that he may live in us, and we in him; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
Amen.
Collect for the Season:
Almighty and everlasting God, who hatest nothing that thou hast made and dost forgive the sins of all those who are penitent: Create and make in us new and contrite hearts, that we, worthily lamenting our sins and acknowledging our wretchedness, may obtain of thee, the God of all mercy, perfect remission and forgiveness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
