ETF Face-to-Face Events for 2018
Attention future retirees! ETF will be holding a face-to-face event titled WRS Nearing Retirement as follows:

The Human Resources Department is excited to present a Lunch and Learn Series that will cover various topics during the months of February and March. The topics will include items that will help you with your day to day operations and procedures for common workplace functions as well as informational sessions regarding leave and benefit options. Please look for upcoming information regarding these sessions in a future HR Alert.

Bob Intoccia, Fidelity Director, Retirement Planner will be on site to help you address many questions including:
  • Am I investing properly?
  • Am I on track with my retirement savings?
  • How do I bring my retirement savings together?
  • How do I turn retirement savings into ongoing, steady income?

One-on-one sessions are by appointment only between 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the Tallent Hall, Human Resources, Room 201.

Bob will also be available for a "Select, Sign-up and Save with Your UW TSA 403(b) workshop on February 26, 2018, from 12:15 - 1 p.m. at the Student Center in the Walnut Room.
ACA HOURS LIMIT : Student employees will be allowed to work up to 40 hours per week from May 27 though August 18, 2018, for the summer months and December 23, 2018 through January 19, 2019. Please also note, student employees are not permitted to work over the 25 hour limit during Spring Break.

PAPER CHECKS/DIRECT DEPOSIT :  Any employee without active Direct Deposit information will receive a paper check mailed directly to their home address on file effective February 1, 2018. Checks will no longer come to campus for pick up in the Human Resources Office. It is official UW System policy that all employees be paid via Direct Deposit. Please be sure your Direct Deposit information is up-to-date. If you intend to make changes or have any questions please contact Human Resources at extension 2204. 
BioMetric Screening

Biometric Screening will be held on April 3, 2018.

April 26 is National Take Your Child to Work Day. The committee is currently working on information regarding the event. Once finalize all staff will be notified.
UW System Title and Total Compensation Study Update
As you know, the University of Wisconsin System is embarking on a complete redesign of its current classification and compensation structure. The goal of the study is to modernize the existing title and compensation programs which will, in turn, attract and retain the best talent for the organization. We are continuing to work on the redesign.
