Dear CollegeTracks Supporter,

As you know, CollegeTracks gives low-income, first-generation-to-college students the opportunity to go to college and graduate.  We support students and families at Wheaton, Watkins Mill, and Bethesda-Chevy Chase high schools.  We help students get admitted to college, find enough financial aid to attend, enroll, persist and graduate.

Thanks to you, CollegeTracks changed the lives of 1,200 Montgomery County students last year.

As a first-generation college student, I can't begin to describe how much CollegeTracks has done for me. From assistance with college applications to seeing me graduate four years later, CollegeTracks has helped me become a young professional. My coaches have transformed me into a role model for others, especially for my younger brothers, who, after seeing me graduate, understand the value of pursuing and attaining higher education.

CollegeTracks students apply, enroll, persist, and graduate at rates matching their more affluent peers. With YOUR help, this past year:
  • 850 high school students got help navigating and completing the college admissions process, since most know no adult with the knowledge, experience, time, or money to help.

  • 99% of CollegeTracks' seniors were admitted to one or more of 200 colleges and technical schools.  More than half were admitted to four-year colleges.  Collectively, they were offered more than $8 million in financial aid.

  • 350 students received College Success coaching to help them enroll, persist and graduate from college.
Higher education changes everything!!  CollegeTracks grads work in law firms, government agencies, NIH, hospitals, schools, nonprofits, engineering firms, technology, finance, entertainment, telecom, and more.

This school year,  850 high school students and 450 college students are counting on you! Support their journey to and through a college education and on to productive jobs.

Because of YOU, students meet their full potential and realize their dreams. By ensuring the pathway to higher education is possible for all, YOU help to disrupt the cycle of inequality and poverty.

Please invest again in students' futures.

P.S.  YOUR SUPPORT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

The staff at CollegeTracks helped me optimize my study habits and deal with personal issues that would have impacted my academics. With their help, I was able to obtain enough financial aid so my mom never had to pay for college, which she couldn't afford. Without CollegeTracks, I would not have been able to find the right school or graduate in 4 years.   --  Chido Makoni,   Wheaton HS '13; Towson University '17
