Hello February.
A quick note to let you know what's in store the next couple months. I'm excited about several things happening this year. I'll share a bit here and please know there is much more to come!
I will be presenting at the
California Adoption Conference in Oakland, CA on March 24th. The theme of the conference this year is:
Listening to the Stories of Adoption and Foster Care. I will be discussing ways all members of the adoption and foster communities can heal from grief, loss and trauma including EMDR, Brainspotting, mindful awareness, story, and more.
The CAC Conference is a wonderful opportunity for anyone connected to or by adoption to come together for support and education. It's also a fantastic opportunity for professionals (therapists, teachers, social workers, counselors) to become more aware of issues related to working with the adoption and foster care population.
Adoptive Parents: I've extended the special package rate for
sessions through February 15th 2018.
(You need to purchase the sessions by
February 15th but the sessions never expire.)
Please contact me directly to learn more.

Last, we have a spacious, windowed office in our
Pasadena suite available
February 15th. This office, located in the desirable Evergreen Complex, is a real gem with hardwood floors, lots of natural light, separate entrance and exit, call light system and more. This office is the largest in our ground level 4-office suite that includes a serene waiting area, kitchen, covered parking and convenience to Old Town, shops, restaurants and the Gold Line. We are a friendly bunch of therapists who refer to each other often.
Contact me directly for photos and more information.
As always, please feel free to reach out and ask any questions about the above or anything else that's on your mind.
With gratitude,
Lesli Johnson, MFT
