Stations of the Cross Service


The Stations of the Cross is a liturgical way to reenact Jesus' journey as a meditation and an act of devotion.  In remembering, we are making our own journey.  

Friday, March 23, 6:00 PM - The Family Stations offer a reenactment of Jesus' last week beginning with Passover. We use costumes and actors to tell the story as we  move around the church.

Palm Sunday, March 25th


Bring your drums and noisemakers on Palm  Sunday  for the outdoor procession! 

We will process from the front parking lot (or portico in the event of rain) at both the  8:00 am  and  10:30 am  services. Please arrive early to prepare for the procession!

Children and Youth are invited to the courtyard at 9:45 am to build noise makers for the procession.

Wednesday Tenebrae 



Tenebrae (the Latin word for "darkness" or "shadows") has for centuries been celebrated on a day in Holy Week preceding Maundy  Thursday . The solemn liturgy includes readings from the Lamentations and the gradual, dramatic extinguishing of candles in the church until only a single candle, considered a symbol of our Lord, remains.



Maundy Thursday 
Agape Meal

On March 29  we will observe the Maundy  Thursday  liturgy at 7:30 pm. This night, which remembers the first Eucharist, has distinct actions: the foot washing, Holy Eucharist, the Agape Meal and the stripping of the altar. 

The Agape Meal is a relatively new practice at St. Patrick's. It is contained within the liturgy, but the worship moves to the parish hall. This year we share a modest bowl of vegetable soup in a candle lit setting as we listen in silence to the Passion according to St. John. 

Good Friday



Come at 12 noon and 7:30 pm for the solemn liturgy from our prayer book. 





Holy Saturday



Join us for holding the sacred space of Holy Saturday, as the church will be open between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm for the opportunity to pray at the Garden of Repose in the nave or to walk the labyrinth in the parish hall.



Easter Vigil with Holy Eucharist

If you are joining us for the 6:30 am Easter Vigil with Holy Eucharist service, please remember the service begins outside on the front lawn. You may want to bring a folding chair to sit in as well as a blanket and flashlight.

Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday


Gather in the Narthex (outside of the Nave) for instructions and pictures with the  Easter bunny at  9:30  The hunt will begin at  9:45 am .  Friends are welcomed!

The 1-3 year old children will be in the courtyard.
   The 4-6 Year old children will be on the playground.
   The 7-11 Year old children will be on the front lawn.

Our Rite 13 kids will hide eggs! Let Becky or Liz know if you can help!  Helpers will gather at  9:15 .

Birthday and Anniversary blessings will not occur on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. If you are having a birthday or anniversary during these weeks and would like to receive a blessing during the service, please consider receiving your blessing on April 8. We appreciate your flexibility!

Easter Lilies Sign-Up

Easter Lilies, which are placed at the altar for the Easter service, are available for ordering now through sign-up. The cost is $20 each.  The lilies are a lovely way to honor friends and family during the season of Easter. The deadline for ordering is Sunday, March 25th. Please note the information you want printed in the bulletin (in honor of / in memory of) and note "Easter Lily" on your check. The sign-up sheet is posted outside the church office or you may sign up here.

To sign up for a shift, click here or fill your name in for a time slot on the sign-up sheet outside the church office. There should be at least two people keeping vigil at all times throughout the night, but more than two are welcome! For safety, a security guard will be in our parking lot during the Vigil. Feel free to sign up for longer than one hour. The Sacred Watch will take place in the Nave.

We welcome and encourage all ages to be a part of the activities and worship at St. Patrick's. Children multi-task very well and there is a table of quiet activities in the office hallway for use during the 10:30  Sunday service.

Diocesan Information 



Youth survivors from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are leading a rising chorus of young voices demanding real changes to address the issue of their safety. We join our Diocese is supporting our youth as they process their real fear for their safety and consider taking action to address it.

On March 24, student organizers, including those from Parkland, Fl, are planning March For Our Lives, a march in Washington, D.C. to call for school safety and gun control. Diocesan Youth are planning to participate in a parallel march in Atlanta the same day at 1pm.
