2018 is set to bring about many changes. For starters, the Patriots did not repeat as Super Bowl Champs - What? I know people have strong opinions on the Patriots, you either love them or hate them. I was born into being a Patriots fan, you were either a fan or you didn't have a place to sleep! My dad still hasn't recovered from the loss on Sunday. In an almost as shocking development, we actually have tax reform for 2018. There is a lot in the new tax law that will benefit the construction industry. My Partner, Rick Tidd has summarized some of the most important points of the new law in his article below. Please take a few minutes to read it. Bowers & Company has held and we will be holding additional webinars and seminars to go into detail on the topic. Please watch your inbox for information on the dates and times. You will want to make sure you reap all the benefits you can from the changes. I hope you have a great start to the New Year. I wish you full WIP schedules with thick profit margins!

With the passing of tax reform on December 22, 2017, some might say that Christmas came early that year (or late depending on one's perspective).  We have not seen such significant tax reform since 1986.  The law is effectively broken down into individual reform, business reform, and changes to the international tax regime.  In this brief article, we will attempt to cover some highlights of the business reforms.
