BIOGRAPHY
Regina O'Neill
Market Relationship Director, KPMG

Regina is KPMG’s Market Relationship Director for the Pacific Northwest and is located in the Downtown Los Angeles office. She has over 25 years of sales experience, heavily weighted within the financial services industry, specifically with in the alternative investments and asset management space. Regina has a particular penchant for connecting industry professionals for infrastructure and general business development.

Regina joined KPMG as part of the June 2014 acquisition of Rothstein Kass where she was a director in their Alternative Investments Business Advisory Services group and was based in the firm’s Beverly Hills office. She has extensive experience working with established, emerging and start up fund entities.

Prior to joining Rothstein Kass, Regina was a Infrastructure Consultant at HC Associates, LLC, which provided customized consulting services to Financial Services firms such as hedge funds, funds of funds, institutional investors, family offices, asset managers, banks and broker dealers.

Prior to HC, Regina was a partner and founding team member at Merlin Securities (now Wells Fargo Prime), where she originated and developed their West Coast and Southwestern presence. During her tenure, she sourced both existing and emerging hedge funds, resulting in the firm experiencing considerable custodial asset growth and sale to Wells Fargo Securities.

Before launching Merlin, Regina was principal of sales, prime brokerage services, at Banc of America Securities, where she was part of the two person business development team responsible for the West Coast region. She also served as an investment liaison at Capital Influx, Inc., working in the Financial Services Group of STV Communications, Inc. Regina began her career at Alex Brown & Sons in the Taxable Fixed Income Sales, Capital Markets division with a concentration in Corporate Bonds, Private Placements, MBS, ABS and CMBS.

Regina is a founding member of the West Coast executive committee of Hedge Funds Care.
