No. 2. Lambert, previously sixth, replaces Parkview at fourth. Hillgrove, previously unranked, debuts at fifth following victories over Lambert, North Paulding and McEachern.
Following Cambridge's loss to Alpharetta on March 16, it fell from first to fifth, making room for Gainesville to take the top spot in Class AAAAAA. Chattahoochee, previously third, is second this week. Allatoona debuts at No. 3 and Dalton, previously sixth, is fourth.
Yet again, McIntosh regains the No. 1 ranking in Class AAAAA after current No. 2 Clarkston held it for a week. Clarkston is coming off a 4-2 loss to Vestavia Hills (Ala.) on March 17. McIntosh, following a loss to Clarkston on March 9, defeated Whitewater 2-1 on March 15 to regain traction. Former No. 3 Carrollton and former No. 4 Rome settle to sixth and ninth, respectively, this week.
No. 1 Chestatee, No. 2 Blessed Trinity and No. 3 Marist hold their rankings from last week again this week. Below them, shifting teams are finding or losing form. Former No. 4 Columbus dropped to No. 7, making room for Upson-Lee to move up to fourth. Northwest Whitfield, previously sixth, rounds out the top five.
If Westminster got tired of being in control of Class AAA soccer, you wouldn't know it. The Wildcats hold the top spot again this week over No. 2 East Hall and No. 3 North Murray. Previous No. 4 Savannah Arts slid outside the top five this week making room for Windsor Forest to take its place. GAC is fifth again.
Putnam County debuts at No. 1 this week following former No. 1 Jefferson's loss to Westside-Augusta on March 13. Jefferson is fourth this week. Benedictine holds at No. 2 again followed by previous No. 4 Thomasville, which moved up a spot this week. Previous No. 5 Coosa fell to unranked following a loss to No. 7 Armuchee, allowing Lamar County into the top five at fifth.
In Class A, Paideia is still on top. Whitefield Academy (No. 2), Atlanta International (No. 3) and Pinecrest Academy (No. 4) remain the same. Former No. 5 Georgia Military fell to sixth with Athens Academy replacing GMC at fifth. Former No. 6 Savannah Country Day climbed one spot to sixth. Brookstone, previously unranked, enters the mix at No. 8 following St. Anne Pacelli's fall to 10th.
