LADYSMITH KINSMEN:  Ladysmith Kinsmen are looking for your support to build public washrooms downtown. The project is going to cost $84,000. The Kinsmen have raised close to $45,000 but more is needed. We hope each downtown business could donate $100 and that would take us a long way towards completion. Accessible public washrooms are greatly needed downtown not only for local shoppers but for visitors as well. Please help. Contact Duck Paterson at 250-245-2263

Cowichan 2018 BC Summer Games

The Cowichan 2018 BC Summer Games are around the corner and our region needs your help! 3000 volunteers are required to assist with all aspects of hosting the G ames including transportation, ceremonies, accommodations, meals and venue management at 27 venues across the Cowichan Valley, including Ladysmith. You can apply to volunteer here.

Ladysmith Intermediate requires two additional Volunteer facilitators

Junior Achievement British Columbia-JABC- www.jabc.ca , is part of an international non-profit organization that delivers business-training programs to schools through volunteers from local business organizations. JABC programs are FREE to the schools.
