Hello registered players!!
First off, we are thrilled to announce that the 2018 Michigan Pond Hockey Classic is just days away, and Mother Nature has finally decided to gift us some perfect pond hockey weather!
REGISTRATION FEE
If your team opted to carry over registration from last year (or the year before), you can skip this section. You are already paid in full. If you click the link and make a payment, we will consider it a donation to the charity and thank you ever so graciously.
To the teams that did not carry over registration:
When you registered, you paid a $100 non-refundable deposit to save your team's spot in the tournament. Now that we have made the official decision that the event is a go, it's time for you to pay the remaining balance of your registration fee, which is $400. We will accept payments through the 8th of February. If your team has not yet paid the registration fee when you check in, you will not be able to play in the tournament. We CANNOT accept cash payments or personal checks. We will accept a certified check or money order (with your team name and division somewhere on it), but prefer that you pay using the PayPal link below.
(Because we are a 501(c)(3), the processing fee is significantly less than what it was when we used Sport Engine.)

ICE CONDITIONS & WEATHER UPDATE
The weather is looking prime for ice making in the next week. We're also looking at some snow accumulation, which is great for both carving out rinks and providing some traction on the ice. As of this morning, we had 9.5" of ice, and anticipate rapid growth with the single-digit temps in the next few days. Here's a link to the

As we've learned the past two years, with Michigan weather, we can't always count on the forecast to be 100% reliable. While we are moving forward with a full event schedule (including night games), things can always change. We will do our best to communicate any changes, but need you all to share information with your teams when we send emails, and please keep an eye on social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). We are working through some issues with our mobile app, but hope to be able to use that to communicate as well. We'll send more info about that next week.
TEAM ROSTERS
Please finalize your team rosters ASAP. We need EVERY player included in your team roster in order for them to play in the tournament. You can log into our website and adjust your rosters accordingly.
EVERY PLAYER MUST SIGN A WAIVER AT PLAYER CHECK IN. You can update your roster at any time by logging into our website and navigating to your registration. Here's a link to the help document for how to update your registration entry. While we can administratively update your rosters, we are incredibly busy finalizing the details of the event to ensure that it is EPIC, so please make every effort to update your own rosters.
PLAYER CHECK IN PROCEDURES
Player check-in opens at 4:00pm on Friday, February 9th. Every player will need to visit the Player Check In tables in the back of the Main Entertainment tent. This is where you will sign the waiver, pick up your tournament swag (which is really awesome this year, by the way), get your wristbands, etc. The event schedule has been posted on our website here:

GAME SCHEDULES
They're not ready yet. We have to wait until registration is closed to work through setting up the brackets and game schedules. We cannot give you any advance notice about your games, so please sit tight while we get things organized. Additionally, we cannot accommodate changes to game times. We would love to, but this will just add more time and effort to the process that we just cannot afford. We appreciate your understanding.
