This is a gentle and pleasant self acupressure technique.  It relieves "stuck stress" in the body that comes with repetitive movements or working in a desk job.  It is one of the most effective ways to gently relieve chronic pain and to improve posture!

Fresh Five Minute Food 
With Erin and Christine 

Have you ever said, "I don't have time to eat healthy!"?  Trust me, I've felt like all I have time for is the fast food drive thru myself!   I've also noticed that if I pick up  "junk food" even once or twice a week, I gain weight.  Imagine that?!  And, I guess I am pretty busy.  I have 2-4 kids (depending on the day), a husband, a dog and two cats, a house and yard, and I'm a business owner with a 1 hour commute to work who often works on weekends.  Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed and frustrated that I can't take more time to prepare fresh meals.  BUT, with a little planning, I can still find the time to eat fast and fresh.  This column is a new column in our newsletter dedicated to making fast and fresh food.  -Erin

January Tip of the Month:  Keep some lettuce in the fridge all the time and make sure some of it is washed and ready to use.  You don't need to prep all your lettuce at once, just every few days, rinse some thoroughly and spin it, dry it and put it in an easy access container.  We recommend a great product from Ikea - it's a small lettuce spinner with a closed bowl to allow you to spin it on the counter and even store your lettuce inside it, if you wish.  You can buy it on Amazon!  


Around the time Liberty Yoga opened, Christine made a hysterical Five-Minute Salad video.  This month we'd like to offer that to you (again?).  I've found watching it every year or so pretty good.  It doesn't seem to loose it's awesomeness.  Moving forward, we will be trying to put together Fun Five Minute Foods.  If you want to send us something, we'll include it and possibly even make a video about it.  P.S. It needs to be fast AND healthy.

If the minimum enrollment is not met, we will cancel the workshop and notify you of the cancellation via email. Workshops include anything labeled "Workshop" and "Functional Movement".
