5th Sunday After Epiphany

Gentle Reader,

Life can be crazy! With all the comings and going's it's hard to even catch your breath sometimes!  But you're not alone. Jesus knew that hectic pace too, and in the midst of it all he knew what to do to recharge and refocus for the work that was ahead of Him. Come join us  this Sunday , and spend some time with Jesus in prayer in the midst of a whirlwind life. It's not just time spent, it's time invested - in God, in you, in those people and missions that are most important to you! Come and see!

2 018 BLANKET CAMPAIGN!
Loaves & Fishes Team Initiative
For Christmas 2018, we want to give each family at least one blanket with our December Food Truck.   Start looking for sales on fleece now!   How you can help:
a.       Buy fleece - we need 72" x 60 " (2 per blanket)
b.       Buy a similar sized ready-made blanket
c.       Donate money to those who are making blankets
d.       Volunteer to work at one of our blanket workshops - cutting and  sewing needed.   Dates to be announced.

CANCEL SIMPLY GIVING and CHANGING TO BILL PAY

The church encourages online giving.  At the same time, we are helping our congregation (and ourselves) find ways to lessen the charges that come from online giving.

Here is a great way to do so!

Log into your simply giving account and you can select to have the payments stop on a particular date.  Then you can go to your bank and set up BILL PAY for your ongoing giving.  So in effect, you will no longer do simply giving but give through your bank.

Let me know if this helped and when you have this set up.   Thank you for your loyal giving and for helping us be fiscally responsible.  Blessings!

"For our 150th Anniversary year, we want to purposefully measure the difference we make in our world.
We want to celebrate all the lives we touch in big and small ways.

Our ministries should be focused on the good that we do for people-- in our congregation and outside of our congregation."    Shirley Zierke
