TRITON BASKETBALL TEAM
A HUGE shout out to our TRITON Basketball Team and Coach Garcia for a well played game against McBride High School! The players showed great sportsmanship on the court and have been diligent to their practice!

Thank you to those of you who made it out to cheer from the stands.

CURRICULUM SPOTLIGHT
Literary Analysis, Symbolism, and Interpretation

Mr. Rodriguez is introducing Rorschach's Inkblot test to his 10 th grade English students to show that people have a variety of interpretations of the same thing. The students are creating their own inkblot art. Then, there will be a silent Art Gallery Walk for students to write down what they "see" in each other's art. See more here
FROM THE DIRECTORS: REPORT CARDS
We have begun processing all the grades and comments for the upcoming report cards. You will notice that the grades will not be visible until the report cards are sent, please do not be alarmed. We are committed to the success of every learner and look forward to celebrating their growth.

The faculty has written comments for each student. Comments are intended to provide character-‐based feedback and support continued growth. While letter grades are not a direct evaluation of students’ intellectual character, they do reflect this character, in as much as the assignments, exams, and other materials on which grades are based regularly require students to demonstrate intellectual virtues.

Comments and grades are not meant to be final in any sense but provide constructive and timely feedback. Each teacher, as is appropriate, writes narrative comments pertaining to intellectual virtues. There is no expectation that students will "master" any virtue. Rather, the comments are primarily intended to help students develop a deeper understanding of their intellectual character strengths and to identify areas for potential growth.
