Website Focuses on Cannabis Information

After an extensive process that included surveys, workshops, public meetings and subject-matter advisers, in November the City approved a local ordinance allowing one medical dispensary and one medical testing lab in an industrial area of Thousand Oaks. On February 13, we will begin accepting applications for those two businesses. Residents wishing to learn more about State and local cannabis laws, zoning, or the vendor selection process can visit  www.toaks.org/cannabis. The site also addresses some common resident questions on cannabis law and provides information on our upcoming applicant workshop.
