The safety of our students is top priority at North Royalton City Schools.  When issues of concern are brought to our attention, we feel it is important to share information with our parents to keep them fully informed. This morning, one of our students at North Royalton Middle School opened his locker to find a completed fundraising form with information that referenced Columbine High School.  After working with Officer Jon Karl and the North Royalton Police Department, we do not believe the document to be a credible threat.  However, we take all incidents of this nature seriously as the safety and security of our students and staff is of the utmost importance.  Our staff is aware of the situation and they will remain vigilant as they do each and every day.  If your child asks about this situation, please share that our school is safe.  Please remind your child to always speak to an adult and share with them any information that makes him/her feel uncomfortable.
