NYCPM Consider Others over Holiday Season I
NYCPM students thought of those less fortunate in the community during the holiday season and acted to help.
The Student National Podiatric Medical Association (SNPMA) sponsored a coat drive under the auspices of New York Cares. SNPMA collected 40 winter coats, to be distributed by New York Cares to individuals and families in need of warm coats for the winter. While it was the SNPMA's second coat drive, it was New York Cares' 29th.
The Public Health Club organized a shoe drive that took contributions from just after Thanksgiving through New Year's, and collected 75 pairs of shoes from the College! All of the shoes were donated to the West Harlem Shelter.

Before the footwear was brought to the shelter, members of the Public Health Club posed proudly with the shoes they collected.
