TBC B'nai Cabaret - Performers Needed!
TBC members are getting ready for an adult-only
cabaret evening of Songs, Shmooze and ... what rhymes with "shmooze," oh right, Libations! The event will be
Saturday, March 3, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. We need singers, musicians and helpers to put on a great cabaret-style show. Topics and themes can range from Purim parody (no spiel this time), Yiddishkeit, Broadway, Beyoncé -- vocals, instrumentals,
juggling -- whatever you can offer that will entertain your fellow congregants and help get them to the point where they can't tell the difference between Haman and Mordechai! Time is short, so if you've got some talent, please contact
Bonnie Heft right away!

Men's Club Business Networking Group - Sunday, February 11
The primary goal of our first session was to break the ice, enable members to get to know each other and each other's businesses. Mike Bonheim succeeded. Come join us for session two.
Our
second session will be led by John Prins (
Sunday, February 11 at 9:30)
A family's values, passed down through the generations, afford family members the confidence to be able to say, "And that's what it means to be a Goldberg!" Or, a "Nicholson would never do that!" They make us who we are.
John's interactive presentation will demonstrate the how and why those values are so key to developing an organization's shared values. He will facilitate a discussion of a) what comes next, b) the return on the investment of time and energy, and (c) how a values-based planning experience paves the way to meaningful strategic planning and contributes to a rich, healthy and productive company culture.

Order Shalach Manot for Purim Now!
Two of the mitzvot that are associated with Purim are the sending of gifts of food and the giving of tzedakah. In the Book of Esther, Mordechai wrote to the Jews "to observe the days as days of feasting and joy and giving presents of food to one another and gifts to the poor"! At TBC, we combine these 2 mitzvot into our Shalach Manot fundraiser, a fun way to support TBC by sending gifts to friends as well as TBC clergy, staff, teachers and tutors. Please join us in celebrating Purim through this annual tradition!
More information ...
Deadline for Orders: Saturday, February 24, 2018!
Thanks for your support of TBC!

It is traditional to light a memorial candle on the eve of the yahrzeit at home and to recite Kaddish when lighting the yahrzeit candle. It is also a custom to make donations in memory of loved ones around the time of yahrzeit.
