The wild winter weather resulted in a very quick week here at St.
Francis! I am so thankful that even amidst the stories of power outages, shoveling mishaps and snowblower snafus, that our school family made it through another crazy storm. God is good!
Once again, our students and staff rose to the occasion today, extending a gesture of generosity for the benefit of others. As we live out our school mission statement, students not only perform acts of service, they also give from the heart. Students and staff donated a dollar (or more) today, to not only wear green in honor of St. Patrick, but also to offer a message of hope to those who will benefit from Stem Cell
Research
conducted at the
John Paul II Medical Research Institute
. A total of $320 was raised for this life giving cause! Thank you to the NJHS for encouraging us to focus on
almsgiving
this Lenten season.
Second trimester report cards will be making their way into your homes next week. Please praise your children for their efforts, and/or help them make a plan for improvement, if necessary. If you have any questions regarding your child's report card, or if you would like to speak to their teacher, please either call the office, or email your child's teacher directly.
Thank you, God bless and have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. O'Russo (everyone is Irish this weekend!)
