Imagine No Racism Event - April 21st
 
The Upper New York Bishop's Task force on Eliminating Racism invites us to mark our calendars for Saturday, April 21, the Conference-wide "Imagine No Racism Launch Day." Attendance for this event is mandatory for all Clergy, Supply Pastors and Certified Lay Ministers serving churches.
Pastors and Lay Pastors are asked to bring laity who are passionate about racial justice. The event is 12:30 to 4 PM at the Mohawk District Communication Hub, 105 Genesee St., New Hartford.

Upper New York Area Resident Bishop Mark J. Webb has sent a letter to the clergy across the Conference to set aside Saturday, April 21, 12:30 - 4 p.m., for the Imagine No Racism launch day open to both clergy and laity; simultaneous events will take place across the Conference in every District. Mission of Peace Seeks Youth
The Upper New York Conference is looking for four youth members to participate in the Northeastern Jurisdictional (NEJ) Council on Youth Ministries upcoming Mission of Peace (MOP) mission trip to the Philippines next year. If selected, each youth member must raise money to support their MOP and, upon their return, share their experience. Click here

Youth Conference

Conference Council on Youth Ministries (CCYM) hosts OUTWARD! 2018
April 13-15 at the
Syracuse-Liverpool Holiday Inn,
441 Electronics Parkway, Liverpool.
 
This year's event has a different focus. The schedule will include opportunities for hands-on mission work. But the event will also feature some beloved traditions, including workshops, late-night options, Spirit-filled worship experiences, and an awesome band, SAMECITY. This year's worship speaker is Michael Jordan, dean of the chapel and chair of the biblical studies, theology and philosophy department at Houghton College.
