Special Event with Nathan Clark George
TONIGHT | 7-8:30 PM
Join us for a special evening with our new Pastor of Worship this evening. We are excited about this opportunity to get to know Nathan's music style, his leadership, and his family! He will start the evening with a mini-concert (including special music with his children), he will lead a few congregational hymns, and then there will be a time of Q&A with Kevin interviewing Nathan and his wife, Patsy, to help you get to know them better.

This event
will be held in the Christ Covenant Church worship center, followed by a cookie reception in the main lobby
where you can enjoy fellowship with each other and with Nathan and his family.

We have coordinated childcare for children ages 2 and under. The childcare rooms will be WC 109 for infants, WC 107 for crawlers & toddlers, and WC 103 for 2 year olds.

March 11-17

Daylight Saving Time Begins!
Sunday, March 11 | 2 AM
Don't forget to "spring forward" and move your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night. We don't want you to be late for Sunday school or church! (Note: This is also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors!)

Deacons' Special Offering
This month's offering is designated to the General Mercy Fund to help our own members and others in our community who are in need.

Sunday Bible School - Spring Quarter
begins Sunday, March 11 | 9-10:30 AM
The new season of Sunday Bible School will begin on Sunday, March 11 (March 4 was a special SBS for Global Missions Sunday). For information on spring classes for each age-level community and what they will be focusing on this season, please see our Sunday Bible School webpage.

Communicants Class
begins Sunday, March 11 | 5-5:50 PM
The Spring 2018 communicants class (for 5th graders) begins this Sunday. The communicants class prepares 5th graders to understand the elements of the faith as part of their public profession of faith and prepares them to become communing members of the church. We will meet on Sunday evenings from 5:00-5:50 in room B-204 from March 11-May 20. If you would like more information about this class, please contact Amy Wallace, Director of Children's Ministry.

Thrive Over 55 Senior Expo
Friday, March 16 | 9 AM - 12:30 PM
Christ Covenant Church will host this special event presented by Matthews-Mint Hill Weekly for those over the age of 55 to connect with the resources available to them in the community. Companies and organizations will provide information on topics including wellness, health care, financial planning, and education.
Join us in the Community Life Center for this FREE event where visitors will be treated to free breakfast and lunch. Although our Senior Adult ministry is especially invited to this event, younger communities will also find much worth in attending for both planning for the future or for information about taking care of older family members. Registration is required. To register for this free event, please go to http://bit.ly/Thrive-Over-55.

- GET INVOLVED: OUTREACH

ProjectSHARE March Collection:
Changed Choices
In March, our ProjectSHARE collection is to help Changed Choices. All of us make unfortunate choices. But when bad choices land a woman in jail or prison, this time behind bars can serve as a wake-up call. And when women hear that call and open their hearts and minds to a new way of life, Changed Choices steps in. For information about the Changed Choices organization and the list of items that we are collecting, please see our ProjectSHARE webpage. Thank you for your donations!

Please see our Get Involved webpage for more ways to get involved in our Outreach and Missions programs.
