Good Luck Amy Raff!

The staff of HPL wish Amy Raff the best of luck as she goes off to fulfill her longtime dream of being the Library Director of the Provincetown Public Library in Massachusetts.

Amy came to HPL in September of 2015 and left her colorful and vibrant mark all over the library.
During her time as director, Amy brought about many policy changes making it easier for the public to use the library including reducing fines, increasing the number of times materials can be renewed and doubling the time patrons can use the public computers. She also oversaw the construction of the library's new entryway and restrooms. Amy will be greatly missed by the staff and the community. We wish her the best of luck at her new position. We know she'll be fantastic!

The library is very lucky to have Muriel Verdibello back as Interim Director. Muriel is the former director of the Newburgh Public Library and served as interim when long time director, Fanny Keaton retired in 2015. We know we are in good hands until the board selects a new director. Welcome back Muriel!
