Paul Hogan enters his 6th year at Clemson serving as Senior Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach under Joey Batson. Previously, Hogan coached as a volunteer assistant at the University of Georgia (2001), a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Alabama (2002–04), a graduate assistant at Clemson University (2005–06), and the football strength and conditioning coach at Samford University (2007-2012), where he oversaw all aspects of training for the Samford football team.

Hogan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communication (2000) and a Master’s degree in management from the University of Alabama in December 2004. He is a Certified Strength and Condi­tioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In May 2007, he became a Certified Sports Nutrition Consultant (CSNC) through the American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA).
