On Boxing Day, 750 joined the annual Ripon to Fountains Abbey pilgrimage. Pilgrimages don't have to cost the earth (both financially and with environmental damage from aeroplane emissions). Leeds Church Institute will be holding a Leeds to Ripon pilgrimage this summer, in stages. 

Green Hamper Raises Funds for Flood Victims
We are delighted to have raised £90 to support our Link Diocese in Sri Lanka who are being effected by the impacts of climate change, especially as the hamper was generously given by Green Energy Consulting. They run the Diocesan Green Journey scheme helping our parishes to reduce their energy consumption and switching to renewably generated electricity.

Church of England gets Resolution out of ExxonMobil
The Church of England commissioners hold shares in ExxonMobil and last month worked with other shareholders to pass a resolution requiring the gas and oil giant to report on the impact of climate policies on its business operations.
