Rain Garden Clean-up & Planting
Spring is a time for dusting off and cleaning up. Well, our riverfront rain garden could certainly use some TLC after the long winter. Drop by the Zimmerman Center for Heritage on Sunday, March 25th, enjoy the spring air and exercise your green thumb at our rain garden clean-up and planting. Grab a hot dog from the grill and burn off the calories while getting to know native rain garden plants first-hand. Then return this Summer to enjoy the results of your efforts! Bring your boots, gloves, and clippers; extra gloves and clippers will be available. All ages are welcome from 12 PM to 3 PM.

River Experience on Friday June 1st

The River Experience is Susquehanna Heritage's major annual fund-raising event and it is plenty of fun! Join us for a casual evening at the river sampling food and beverages from local restaurants, breweries and wineries; challenge others in a river-centered silent auction; tap your toes live jazz; and, if the winds are with us, we'll even have a hot air balloon! All this set amid sweeping vistas of the river at day's end. The River Experience is an opportunity to mingle with old friends and make new ones who also love the river.

Susquehanna Riverlands Trail Festival is  Saturday June 2nd

We're so excited to be working with a great group of partners to host the Susquehanna Riverlands Trail Festival. • Live Music and more activities at Columbia Crossing and on the NW River Trail
  • Canoe Classic -- a Chesapeake Bay Foundation  youth canoeing race starting at Columbia River Park
  • Opening of Wilton Meadows Preserve -- enjoy a rugged hike from Highpoint Park through the new Preserve ending at John Wright Restaurant
Join us to HIKE, BIKE, PADDLE, and PLAY at the Susquehanna Riverlands Trail Festival on June 2nd. Stay tuned for more details in the future.
