Five years after this dazzling exhibit opened at the VICTORIA AND ALBERT MUSEUM in London its last stop is NEW YORK where DAVID BOWIE'S life and career ended. It is an historic tour of the great rock star's 50 year career including artifacts, clothing, paintings many of which have never been seen before. You can also enjoy the BROOKLYN MUSEUM'S splendid permanent collections and the adjacent BROOKLYN BOTANIC GARDEN where the roses will be in bloom. COST: $75 for the bus. Admissions costs to the museum and garden are extra.

Learn about the evolution of the area (East 60's and 70's) from the late 18th century when it was farmland, to Marcel Breuer's Modernist masterpiece on Madison Avenue - the former WHITNEY MUSEUM, now the

BREUER. The emphasis will be on the GILDED AGE, the late 19th and early 20th centuries when New York's elite resided in their magnificent, opulent mansions there. See sites associated with Richard Morris Hunt and Stanford White as well as the Morgans, Tiffanys and Vanderbilts. The tour ends at the elegant FRICK COLLECTION, where you can see industrialist Henry Clay Frick's world-class collection of paintings, sculpture, furniture and more. COST: $110 includes the bus and guided tour.

FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT FOUR FREEDOMS PARK
It is the first Memorial dedicated to FDR in New York State and the last work of Philadelphia architect LOUIS I. KAHN. The park is located on the southern tip of ROOSEVELT ISLAND and celebrates the FOUR FREEDOMS: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Want and Freedom from Fear, proclaimed by President Roosevelt in his State of the Union address in January of 1941. We will enjoy lunch at an East Side eatery before crossing the East River by tram where shuttles will transport us to the memorial for a private tour and breathtaking views of NEW YORK CITY. COST $100 includes, bus, tram to Roosevelt Island and the tour of FOUR FREEDOMS PARK.
