FOURTH SUNDAY IN LENT
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God

On Sunday, we’ll wrap up our sermon series on Spiritual Gifts by discovering the ways we can know our spiritual gifts. One way will be by doing a spiritual gifts inventory. These will be available on Sunday and I hope you will take the inventory with you to complete in the next few days. It isn’t a test and there aren’t any wrong or right answers. It’s just one way for you to get at the ways God has gifted you. The reality is that a growing church is a connected church. When we’re connected to God and to one another as the Body of Christ there is growth and fruit. The truth is that we need one another to accomplish all that God has for us to do and be.

New Member Sunday - March 11 th . Please let Pastor Joyce or Mandy Smouse know if you are interested in becoming a member of the church. Short new member informational get-together TONIGHT , March 8th at 6:30, all are welcome to attend.

Summer Church Camp Soup Fundraiser
The Mission Team will be holding a soup, sandwich and ice-cream/cookie & bar lunch on March 11th after worship. This will be a free-will donation to raise money to provide children with camperships to attend United Methodist Church Camps this Summer. Please take a moment to look at the meal sign-up sheet and see where you might be able to help out providing food or serving.

Easter Lily Order-Forms - Order due date is March 18th
Order forms for memorial/honor Easter Lilies are in today’s bulletin. Please take a moment to fill out the form in the bulletin. The cost per lily is $15.00. Checks should be made out to the church, put “Lily” in the memo section, put in the offering plate. You may also fill out this form and mail payment to the church.

Dear Lord,
Thank You for the gifts and the talents You have given to us. Thank You for the thoughtfulness and purpose You have poured into us. We pray that we would recognize what those talents are and what they are for. We pray we would be good stewards of using our gifts and talents for Your will. Help us to encourage one another and support one another to use our gifts and talents for Your glory in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Camping experiences bring positive change by offering a Christian community, spiritual growth and skill development in a safe, outdoor setting.

Camp registration for the 2018 season is officially open! Check-out camps at Lake Okoboji, Pictured Rocks, or Wesley Woods Camp and Retreat Centers for an Adventure of a Lifetime! Registration information can be found at  www.iaumc.org/camps
Registration, campership applications will be available in Fellowship Hall also. Scholarships will be available for families who need help covering the full cost of the camp.
