Happy February! On February 19th
, we celebrate the 125th
anniversary of the Museum's Walker Art Building. Please join us for cake, performances, and a chance to toast to the legacy that has made so much possible. As the chill pervades the air, there's no cozier place to spend time than the Museum of Art! In addition to our Celebration of the 125th, we hope you will join us for an outstanding slate of upcoming programs and remarkable exhibitions. The month ahead features gallery talks with student and faculty curators and with artists and visiting scholars. Bowdoin dancers offer a performative interpretation of Let's Get Lost and Listening Glass, and George Lopez offers one of his signature concerts.

Happy 125th Birthday, Walker Art Building!
2019 marks the 125th anniversary of the Walker Art Building, the distinctive domed home of the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. Named for three members of the Walker family, it has been a symbol on campus of the multifold impact that the study of fine arts can have on students and community members alike.
