Over the last few cycles, our students have participated in Winter Olympic events during Physical Education class. These events not only taught our learners about new sports such as the luge and skeleton, but they developed positive sportsmanship and fostered teamwork as the learners competed for medals.

4th, 5th, and 6th graders, working together as a
vertical team, collaborated on a winter STEM project. As mixed grade level groups, the learners went through the design process to create a sled that would successfully make it down the hill.

Internet/Social Media Safety Seminar for CYSD Families Planned for March 15 at CYHS
What is your student doing online or on social media? Do you know what applications/websites to keep an eye on? What Internet/social media behaviors should concern you?
Join York County District Attorney David Sunday and members of his team for an educational seminar on student behaviors on the Internet and social media hosted by Central York School District.
The Internet/Social Media Safety Seminar for Central York School District parents/guardians will be held at 6:30PM Thursday, March 15, at Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Road, York.
This free educational opportunity is geared toward helping parents/guardians become more aware of safety concerns with Internet and social media behaviors of children and teens.
We encourage parents/guardians to attend and learn more!
