Let's turn New Jersey RED. Life is why.
Friday, February 2, 2018
15th Annual National Wear Red Day

National Wear Red Day® and Go Red For Women® are why more than 670,000 women have survived heart disease and stroke since 2004. National Wear Red Day® is a massive national public awareness day the first Friday each February, urging women, people from all walks of life, businesses, towns, schools, the media, buildings and landmarks to "go red" and "glow red" to bring attention to the fact that heart disease and stroke kill 1 in 3 women.

On February 2, help us turn America RED with lifesaving awareness by wearing something red ... a red dress, tie, jacket, scarf, hat, blouse or shirt. Why? To show your commitment to reducing risk, improving health, and saving lives.

Illuminate your building, property or home RED!

Meet New Member Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery:

The Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery, located on the New York Harbor in Linden, New Jersey, is one of the largest refineries on the East Coast and a key asset to the region and the state of New Jersey. Built in 1909, the refinery processes a mix of imported, and U.S crude oil. The new rail offloading facility, which began operations in August of 2014, has made possible the receipt of advantaged domestic crude by rail from the Midwest, keeping Bayway Refinery competitive in the global oil economy.

Bayway Refinery earned its nickname as the "gasoline machine" because it is home to one of the world's largest fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) units, enabling the refinery to produce enough gasoline to meet more than half of New Jersey's annual demand. Bayway refining units also include hydrodesulphurization units, a naphtha reformer, an alkylation unit, isomerization and other processing equipment. Bayway also has a polypropylene plant that produces 775 million pounds of plastic pellets per year.

Bayway Refinery is recognized for its long history of providing jobs, fuels, and years of contributions to the economy and local communities. The 800 plus employees of Bayway work hard every day to make it a priority that the refinery remains a safe, strong, viable, and successful company that can continue to provide energy and support for communities for years to come. Our high-performing workforce makes it possible for the company to achieve its mission of "Providing Energy and Improving Lives" and they live the Phillips 66 values of Safety, Honor, and Commitment each and every day.

Newsweek Names United Airlines
Top Global Carrier in 2017 Green Rankings
United recognized as one of the world's greenest companies

CHICAGO, Jan. 11, 2018
- United Airlines ranked number one among global carriers in Newsweek's 2017 Global 500 Green Rankings, one of the most recognized environmental performance assessments of the world's largest publicly-traded companies. United placed 59th among 500 U.S. brands and 100th among 500 global brands, further strengthening the company's position as a leading sustainable airline.

Newsweek's recognition of United's green initiatives follows Air Transport World (ATW) magazine naming United the Eco-Airline of the Year last year for the company's environmental leadership, innovation and action within the industry. Air Transport World has twice named United the Eco-Airline of the Year since the carrier launched its industry-leading Eco-Skies program .

"We are proud to be recognized as a global leader for our environmental stewardship," said Angela Foster-Rice, United's managing director of environmental affairs and sustainability. "We will continue to innovate, in the air and on the ground, as we strive to make United the most environmentally sustainable airline in the world."
