Winn's Weekly Feline Research Byte
Luna
Luna and FIP Research

Luna, Debra Robert's lovely Savannah cat, became a symbol of hope for one day seeing the end of the deadly disease, feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). Debra's blog included us in the journey of Luna's diagnosis and treatment with a new experimental antiviral drug being evaluated by researchers at University of California-Davis. We followed along to view Luna's amazing recovery from the devastating effects the virus had on her body and sense of wellness.

As you read Steve Dale's recent article and listen to his interview with Debra, you will learn how well Luna is doing now. She is scheduled for her last post-treatment blood panel soon. If all goes according to expectations, this will be the last of her tests for awhile.

Winn will soon be evaluating more FIP research to support along with other feline diseases. We are not done helping our feline friends and will be sharing the news in the coming weeks.

Thank you for being part of Winn's journey to  #EndFIP #Cures4Cats.

There's no place like Winn for the future of cat health!
