This week, Ontario East is in Cincinnati, Ohio attending the Site Selectors Guild 18th Annual Conference with Team Ontario. The conference is the Guild's marquee event with all 44 global Guild members in attendance.

Craft Distillery Wins 4 Medals at the 1st Canadian Artisan Spirits Competition in Vancouver, B.C.

King's Lock Craft Distillery is pleased to announce they were awarded a medal for each of the four spirits they entered in the competition. A Gold medal was awarded to Canada's Whiskyjack Rye in the Young Whisky Class along with Silver to Prescott White Rye. Von Schoultz Vodka took Bronze in the Vodka Class. 1000 Islands Moonshine was awarded Silver in the Aged Spirit Class bringing home its second medal in the past year. In June 2017, 1000 Islands Moonshine won a Bronze medal in the International Spirit Competition in London England.

Gibbons Family Farm Maple Sugar House 

Gibbons Family Farm Maple Sugar House is famous for its Canada Grade A Amber rich syrup collected from its 4,500 taps in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township. 
Maple sugar candy, maple lollipops and sugar pops, maple and cinnamon butter are all made on site and for sale in the farm's shop. New this year is maple popcorn. 
"We're known for being open year round and as a working sugar house where you can walk in the door and see us in action," says Sarah Gibbons.
