USHJA Show Jumping Rider Meeting This Weekend at Ocala
|
|
Join us to learn about the Show Jumping Athlete Pathway this week at HITS Ocala. USEF Youth Chef d'Equipe and USHJA Show Jumping Technical Advisor DiAnn Langer will provide attendees with an overview of the Show Jumping Athlete Pathway and the many opportunities available to up and coming Jumper riders on Friday, March 23, at 4:30 p.m. in the HITS Ocala Restaurant by the Vendor Courtyard.

USHJA Announces National Championships Coming This Year!
|
|
The Championships will feature National Hunter Championships for:
- Amateur Owner Hunters
- Junior Hunters
- Pony Hunters
- Green Hunters
- Adult Amateur Hunters
- Children's Hunters
They will include the USEF/USHJA National Jumper Championships with eight sections of competition and the first USHJA Affiliate Championships!
Members interested in qualifying must submit entries for the Championships by Sept. 14. Entries will open when the horse show prize list is released.

The Las Vegas National, CSI4*-W at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa's Arena and Equestrian Center.

Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund/USHJA Emerging Athletes Program Regional Training Session are coming up. In Zone 4
Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, Georgia, is hosting a session
June 10-14 featuring clinicians Geoff Teall and Colleen Reed. The deadline to apply for this session is
April 16.

Mark Your Calendar for Hunterdon Cup Equitation Classic
|
|
Mark your calendar for the USHJA Hunterdon Cup Equitation Classic, presented by
Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry, a three-round class that combines the precision of equitation and the handiness of hunters.
The
East Coast Classic will be
July 30 in Saugerties, N.Y. The
West Coast Classic will be
July 23 in Del Mar, Calif. Riders can choose their preferred location. Qualifying ends May 31.

Mark your calendar for the USHJA Zone 4 Pony Challenge and the Horse & Pony Handling Clinic with Oliver Brown
June 18 at Georgia International Horse Park.
The one-round challenge, judged by Anne Keenan, is designed to help prepare for USEF Pony Finals. There will also be a Horse & Pony Handling Master Class Clinic with Oliver Brown.
