Match Play Championship; New & Improved Seeding
One of the goals of the Tournament Committee was to create a better way of seeding players that represents their playing ability for the Match Play Championship. It has been noted that the previous Player of the Year rankings sometimes do not accurately portray the players ability. Therefore, the Tournament Committee recommended and the Board approved the creation of a sub-committee to rank players after the registration deadline. The goal of this committee is to have an A, B, C and D player in each POD of the Match Play Championship.
