On this day in history the game of Monopoly was invented, the patent for the telephone was issued to Alexander Graham Bell, and Guy Lombardo first recorded "Auld Lang Syne". Lots of interesting things happen in the month of March-- including Sharon's Birthday (3/5) and Jackie's Birthday (3/16). Also, National Quilting Day happens on the 3rd Saturday in March which this year happens to fall on St. Patrick's Day (3/17). This month's in-store retreat coincides with National Quilting Day! Sounds like a fun time. We have a new session of Quilting 101 (Beginning Quiltmaking) starting up next week, and the ever-popular Sew Together Bag is on the schedule. Also, if you missed Margaret Willingham's Reverse Applique' by Machine last time, it is being offered again. There is always something going on at Quilter's Dream. Drop by and take a look at the class samples, and all of the fabrics! We look forward to seeing you!

Wednesday 3/7/18

9:30 - 10:30: Aunt Grace Baskets of Scraps

This is the 3rd meeting of this 12-month block of the month. There is still time to join the fun!

Jackie is the teacher. Cost is $25.00 + kit.

1:00 - 2:30: Hand Embroidery Club

This club meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month Debbie Benewich is the leader and will help you with your projects. Learn new stitches and coloring ideas too. Cost is $10.00 per session.

Thursday 3/8/18

10:00 - 3:00: Christmas Club
This club meets the 2nd Thursday of each month. Come in and work on Christmas projects all year long! We have lots of project ideas and fabrics to choose from.

Friday 3/9/18

12:00 - 4:00: Reverse Applique' By Machine

Learn the quick and easy steps in Eye of the Beholder's trace, snip, iron and stitch process to machine reverse applique', and get pointers on how to satin stitch like a pro. See the beauty of the 6" Reverse Applique' block for Snowy Hearts table runner (21.5" x 35.5") revealed as you stitch. Click here for the supply list.

Taught by Margaret Willingham, the designer of the pattern. Cost is $35.00 plus supplies.

This is the 2nd meeting of this 2 session class.

Monday 3/12/18

10:00 - 3:00: Buggy Barn Day

Select any Buggy Barn pattern (there are many to choose from!) and join Sonje Jessen for this all day class. She will walk you through the Buggy Barn process. Whether you are a seasoned quilter, or new to the craft you are sure to have a good time and learn something new. Cost is $40.00 for a new student, $25.00 for returning students that need Sonje's help.

Tuesday 3/13/18

5:00 - 10:00: Open Sew

This is a weekly event. Bring a project to work on. Jackie and Sharon will be available to help you if needed. We order something for dinner, or you can bring your own. Cost $10.00 + dinner.
