The 2018 RDGA Net Championship - scheduled for August 7 and 8 and hosted by the immaculate
Ravenwood Golf Club
- will feature several flights for BOTH MEN and WOMEN based on USGA Handicap Index. RDGA Members of all skill levels are invited to enter this event - keeping in mind that you will only be competing against other players of similar abilities! More details about this exciting new Championship will be posted soon - stay tuned to the RDGA.org website and upcoming RDGA Newsletters.
The RDGA Net Championship is just one of 25 events scheduled for the 2018 season, ranging from casual Play Day events, to USGA Qualifiers - to the RDGA District Championship John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial at Monroe Golf Club. From junior tournaments to women's events - and everything in between - there is something for everyone on the 2018 RDGA Tournament Schedule!

By completing your RDGA profile now, it will be easier to sign up for RDGA events when tournament registration officially opens on February 15.

Six months ago, Pittsford native Dominic Bozzelli made the tough decision to cut short his impressive rookie season on the PGA Tour following an untimely shoulder injury at the Canadian Open in late July - in order to work towards his eventual return to the Tour for the 2017-18 season.

Bozzelli, who finished the 2016-17 PGA Tour season 113th on the money list as the brand ambassador for Victor's Power Management - a proud Corporate Partner of the RDGA - returned in impressive fashion, making the cut at the Sony Open in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 11-14.
This week, Bozzelli is back in action, playing in the PGA Tour's popular
Waste Management Phoenix Open - and
YOU can follow his progress hole-by-hole as he tours the famed
TPC Scottsdale course, thanks to the

ONLINE REGISTRATION for
2019 DRIVE, CHIP & PUTT
IS NOW OPEN!
The
USGA,
Masters Tournament and the
PGA of America have officially launched the sixth year of the popular
Drive, Chip and Putt competition by announcing the local and subregional schedule for the 2018-2019 qualifying season.
Open to boys and girls ages 7-15, local qualifying will take place throughout all 50 states during the months of May, June, July, and August. Top performers at the local level will advance through subregional and regional qualifiers at some of the country's best championship venues in July/August and September, respectively.
The just-released schedule includes dates and locations for participants to play in local qualifiers across the country, with the opportunity to advance and earn an invitation to next year's National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club.
In Rochester, a Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifier is scheduled for Thursday, July 19, 2018 at
Southern Meadows Golf Club
in Rush. Be sure to save the date - and sign up when registration opens on January 25!
